Trust me...He is Scared!!

Hmmmm....look at the pretty rainbow.

P.I. or bust

The Evil Pagoda

Who's the Baby?

We had a Hot Water Heater that banged in the Night.... 2-3 Lbs of Calcium buildup might be
the cause...Removing it did the trick but if you actually know WHY it did it let me know!!

I happened to have a patient come in for some emergency care.
He happened to be the man that does the fireworks shows on Guam. Anybody who knows
me knows I love to see and hear things go bang....Just my luck!!!
He let Shoshanna and I come down into the restricted area and watch the show first hand.
It was awesome!!!!! Everything was happening right over us!! LOUD and BRIGHT!!!
Here are few pictures and video montages of the show!

Thanks again Denise!!

Independence day update

Greetings everyone and happy 4th!!!

I've been a poor blog poster the last few weeks so I decided to give you a quick and delineated update....since it's 11 o'clock and I want to go to bed!

#1: The leak from the appartments above have been fixed and so we finished ripping out the drywall in the washroom and replacing it! Done!!

#2: Our cat Kianga has found a new place to sleep! Maybe we haven't been doing a good enough job on building her self esteem.

#3: Thanks to a Home Depot gift card the Piersons gave me, I now have my computer printer and other goodies off the ground...Thanks guys!!

#4: This weekend we watch a movie called Defiance. Wow!! It's a TRUE story about a group of Jews (numbering 1000+ by the end of the war.) that wandered through a Belarussian forest. While at the same time maintaining a semblance of life, they fought the Nazi's, made "friends" with the Russian resistance, outlasted freezing winters and did it for over 2 years. It's a great story about survival and the will to live. The other two movies on the poster a good too. Blood Diamond and The last Samurai. Watch them all!

Last Weekend

After bowling a career best 166 with the crew at Leo's Palace we had a fun dive on Sunday. Eric had to try out his new macro lens we made him so we took a dive at Outhouse... We then went to USO hole to see if the frogfish were back but not luck. Nobody brought there camera for bowling but here are two nice macro shots.

Outhouse Beach with Mike

Today Mike convinced me to get back into the water after Palau. It was an awesomely hot and tropical day so it sounded pretty good. Especially after I got into my wetsuit and baked in the sun before jumping in. Anyway...it ended up being a great dive. I even saw a new Nudibranch which always a great dive. Here are a few pictures, enjoy!!

Small 4-5mm crabs that ride around on a long sea cucumber!!

My new find...a Species of Philinopsis
A second on with a little ligher coloration, you can actually see through it to is organs.

A new pipefish
Check out the little growths/camouflage on is head.

An Old Turtle....see the Barnacles on his top shell and belly!

Glossodoris symetricus...and old find but always good to see again!!

Golfing...

On Sunday while the girls had the Baby shower for Dixie the guys took the golf course. Nobody was spectacular enough to document anything while playing so here is a picture at Jamaican Grill...we could all do that pretty good.
